Joshua Smith will exhibit a collection of collage-based work influenced by film, theology, religious art, architecture and history in his exhibition entitled "Memory Pending." Smith works with found and collected imagery that can be manipulated into social, political, and historical narratives and iconography.

From Dada-influenced collage and photography to found photographs from the 1950s, Smith's body of work serves as a visual representation of how memory is constructed and the role memory plays in shaping both personal and public histories.
