To celebrate the opening of their gallery, owners and Houston-based artists David Hardaker and Ray Phillips enlisted contemporary artist Lisa Qualls to curate Spectrum. Spectrum refers to the variety of artists, techniques and colors. The artworks range from saturated and vibrant to subtle and lyrical; other works are creamy, sensual, lush, lickable, playful and dramatic.

The art gallery specializes in international, national and regional mid-career artists working in all types of media and occupies the Rice Baulard Building, built in 1870 as one of the first art supply stores in Texas.
