Peter Sacks' recent works have been described as spectacular "color bombs." His dense application of paint to the canvas draws in the viewer to examine the inclusion of mixed media: corrugated cardboard, rope, found objects and, most notably, fabric. Recent Paintings is on view through Dec. 10.
