John Cleary Gallery
Isa Leshko's Thrills and Chills series consists of darkly printed black and white gelatin silver photographs. Scenes from amusement parks, county fairs and along boardwalks have been captured with a Holga, often considered a toy camera. Presented by John Cleary Gallery in conjunction with Houston Arts Alliance Gallery, the exhibition is accompanied by a limited edition catalogue.
An opening reception will be held at Houston Arts Alliance Gallery on Thursday, Oct. 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. The exhibition is on view through Dec. 31.
