In his new collage works, Björgúlfsson transforms photographs taken as records of his varying environment. Cacti are arranged in a mountain landscape, mineral ore floats above the sea, city trash, with striking sculptural qualities, interrupts an untouched mountainous desert and glacial ice hangs from swamp trees like otherworldly cocoons. An opening reception will be held 6 - 8 p.m. The exhibition is on view through April 2.
