Opening of Art for Japan and Under the Big Top


Two exhibitions will open at McClain Gallery. Both will remain on view through August 6.

Art for Japan collects works by Japanese artists centered around the intimation of landscape through the medium of photography, painting and works on paper. Twenty percent of the proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross to support disaster relief efforts in Japan.

Under the Big Top is a circus-themed installation and features works by Ray Smith, Sylvie Fleury, Damien Hirst, Larry Bell, Ford Beckman, John Alexander, Fletcher Benton, William Fisk, Ellsworth Kelly, Donald Baechler, Giles Lyon, The Art Guys and Ivan Navarro.
