Two Texas artists, Shannon Cannings and Ann Wood, will share the Anya Tish Gallery space beginning Friday, May 6. The exhibition will feature large oil paintings by Cannings and a mixed media installation by Woods. Both artists are drawn to imagery of common childhood objects that are placed into contexts involving adult concerns. The artists will be present at the opening reception from 6 - 8:30 p.m.
The exhibition is on view through June 4.
