An opening reception for these two new exhibitions will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. In the main gallery, Art League presents DARKFIRE, a collaborative project by Canadian artist Sean Caulfield and Canadian writer Jonathan Hart. The exhibition features a series of enigmatic intaglio prints and poems inspired by passages of text from Dante's epic poem, The Divine Comedy. There will be an artist talk at 6:30 p.m.

In the Project Gallery is VOODOO POP, a playful collaborative exhibition by New York artist Trey Speegle and Houston-based artist Mary Hayslip. The exhibition chronicles and celebrates the artists' thirty years of friendship and art through an innovative installation of sculpture, photography, printmaking, painting, collage, textile and found art. An artist talk will take place at 7 p.m.

The exhibition is on display through June 24.
