Nowruz, the Persian New Year, is a celebrated symbol of rejuvenation of life and the rebirth of nature. The Iranian Cultural Foundation has kept this tradition alive by organizing a festival at Discovery Green for the last four years. This festive event has attracted more than four thousand Houstonians from all walks of life every year for music, food, entertainment, arts, crafts and pure fun under the sun.
