Over the past eight years, this event has raised more than $2 million for brain cancer research at MD Anderson and pediatric initiatives at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital. The run attracts more than 4,000 people each year.
The race starts outside the Coca-Cola entrance of Reliant Stadium. The course winds around Reliant Park and down Murworth, ending with the runners and walkers entering Reliant Center.
The course is certified. The race is closed to all wheels except non-competitive wheelchairs, and pets are prohibited. Strollers are also permitted.
