Writers in the Schools (WITS) will host "Night WrITers," a creative writing workshop for adults. The event features youth performance poetry Meta-Four Houston and free hors d'oeuvre courtesy of chef Monica Pope. World renowned poet Outspoken Bean will lead a powerful creative writing workshop that inspires attendees to craft original poems.
Night WrITers offers a glimpse of what WITS does every day with 23,500 kids and teachers throughout the city.
