Celebrate downtown’s Historic District, bounded by Texas, Main, Commerce and Travis streets, and stroll between such downtown establishments as Byrd’s Market & Café, La Carafe, CharBar, Hearsay Gastro Lounge, Les Givrals, Macondo Latin Bistro, Voice at Hotel Icon, and Minuti Coffee offering tasty sips and bites. Highlights also include the grand opening of Kitchen Incubator, Houston’s new center for culinary entrepreneurship, and The Poet’s Corner & Saint Arnold Beer Garden located next to the Market Square clock tower. At the center of the event, the newly re-opened Market Square Park features free live performances by local favorite Robert Ellis & the Boys and Americana singer/songwriter Tim Easton.
