Nicole Longnecker Gallery will host the exhibit, “Elsewhere:Everywhere,” curated in collaboration with print artist Cathie Kayser featuring four artists from the Middle East and Asia.
As part of PrintHouston 2019, Nicole Longnecker and Cathie Kayser, a local artist and founding member of PrintMatters, have organized "Elsewhere:Everywhere," an exhibition that welcomes four new artists to the gallery: Pantea Karimi (Iran/California), Rhonda Khalifeh (Syria/New York), Qinza Najm (Pakistan/New York), and Nazar Yahya (Houston/Iraq). The artists will exhibit prints, print installations, and paintings influenced by their varied biographies, adding their unique voices to the chorus of contemporary American artists.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display until June 22.
