New York Intercultural Music Society director and violinist Sean Wang, Grammy-nominated harpsichordist Matthew Dirst, renowned guzheng (Chinese zither) virtuoso Yi-Chieh Lai and Baroque flutist Colin St. Martin present a unique program ranging from violin sonatas written in China during the early Ch'ing dynasty by Jesuit missionary Teodorico Pedrini, performed on period instruments, to a newly commissioned showpiece for violin and guzheng by composer Donald Womack.
