Put on your boogie shoes and ring in 2013 at New Year's Eve Houston with Grammy Award winner KC and the Sunshine Band. Celebrating his 40th anniversary, the "king of disco groove" will bring his infectious party music to Discovery Green just the way you like it.

A dazzling fireworks display presented by Houston First will light up the night at midnight from atop the George R. Brown Convention Center, coupled with video and lighting projections on the building façade. Start the evening  by dancing to the sounds of DJ Gonz and Elroy Boogie from the Kracker Nuttz and DJ Deuce. Each will spin from atop lighted towers around the park, battling beats to keep the party hopping as you countdown to 2013. 

Enjoy a convoy of art on wheels that showcases Art Cars in a unique fashion – brilliantly lighted and blowing fire. This special parade begins at 8 p.m. and circles Discovery Green.
