Contemporary artist Nestor Topchy unveils his Iconic Portrait Strand exhibition at Geo. H. Lewis & Sons Funeral Directors for a one-night-only event. This is the first public presentation of more than 100 portraits depicting notables, particularly from the art world, in 800-year-old Byzantine tradition. See portraits of Edward Albee, Alison De Lima Greene, Michael Galbreth, Molly Gochman, Rick Lowe and Joseph Helfenstein.

The unusual setting for the exhibition was conceived in party as a symbol that people are forever present in their portraits, that art transcends death and time.
