The gathering celebrates the Hana and Arthur Ginzbarg Nature Discovery Center's nearly three decades of ensuring high-quality science education to Houstonians of all ages while maintaining the lushness of its four-acre outdoor classroom, Russ Pitman Park. This year's "Twilight Gala, Turning A New Leaf" will be emceed by KTRK Ch. 13 news anchor Tom Koch.
Proceeds from the celebration support the center's operations, including onsite and outreach programs for preschool through fifth grade and scholarships that allow students and schools to experience high-quality outdoor educational opportunities.
