The Nature Discovery Center will present the 26th Annual Twilight Celebration, returning to the natural beauty of Russ Pitman Park after nearly two decades, with COVID-19 safety as the highest priority. A Twilight Picnic in the Park features two smaller, socially-distanced outdoor events, capitalizing on the open spaces of the nature park. This year's gala also features an online silent auction guests can participate in from home.
The duo of picnics in the park were designed to offer something for everyone, including families with young children. Families are invited to A Family Outing from 2:-4 pm, where they will enjoy a picnic of child-friendly light bites on the front lawn on socially distant picnic blankets provided by the Center. The afternoon event will also include family focused activities in the park, guided nature walks, and live music.
Adults ages 21 and up are invited to An Evening Soirée from 5-8 pm, where they can sample lite picnic bites, a curated selection of wines by Uplifting Wines, and other adult beverages at high top tables on the lawn, enjoy live music, browse silent auction items, and participate in a wine pull.
