The conference theme, "Earth/Energy," was developed specifically for the Houston/Southern region where more than 120 related exhibitions will be sited at more than 70 venues around town.
These opportunities include the chance to view and buy ceramic artworks from artists and galleries from around the country at the Gallery Expo; Watching selected artists create on-site specific installation or performance-based artworks that explore the conference theme in Projects Space; and the annual Cup Sale, where attendees and visitors alike will enjoy shopping and buying the one-of-a-kind cups made by artists from around the country.
Notable speakers at the conference include Janine Antoni as the keynote, as well as Bill Bowers, Namita Gupta Wiggers and Clayton Bailey.
