Musiqa: Real and Imagined

Contemporary music group Musiqa celebrates the first week of the new year with a concert that explores the harmonies of new music and film. Presented in collaboration with Aurora Picture Show, Real and Imagined includes Pierre Jalbert's Visual Abstract, performed live to a film by Jean Detheux, Theo Loevendie's Six Turkish Folk Songs, a film curated by Aurora Picture Show and more. The concert will conducted by Houston Symphony conductor Brett Mitchell.
