In collaboration with Houston Downtown Management District, Musiqa celebrates the installation of the public art piece What Time Is It?, created by Jo Ann Fleischhauer, with original music composed by Chapman Welch and Musiqa's Anthony Brandt. Following the first sounds of Brandt and Welch's electronic composition C O'Clock from the historic Louis and Annie Friedman Clock Tower, Musiqa offers "Time Travel," a concert that features the works of Musiqa composer Rob Smith along with vibrant new works that view the world from unique and unusual perspectives.

The program is complemented with works by iconic and internationally renowned composers Louis Andriessen and John Corigliano and several young composers who are receiving significant exposure internationally, including Michel van der Aa, Missy Mazzoli and Bill Ryan.
