Continuing its venture into new performance spaces, Musiqa will offer "Frozen Time" at Asia Society Texas Center. The program includes the premiere of Musiqa composer Marcus Karl Maroney's Fotofest-inspired work, a natural fit for the evening's theme as photographs are, in essence, frozen moments in time.

On the playbill is another world premiere by Musiqa composer Karim Al-Zand as well as three works by Asian composers, including Karen Tanaka, Lei Liang and Elena Firsova. The performance also incorporates the poetry of nationally recognized author and poet Nick Flynn.
