In collaboration with Space Center Houston, Musiqa presents Deep Sky Objects, a chamber work that will transport you to distant galaxies. Deep Sky Objects, an intergalactic romance set to music and song by internationally acclaimed American composer Sebastian Currier and poetry by Sarah Manguso, weaves a tale of intergalactic love and yearning between two people separated in deep space.

Eerily reflecting the sounds of space, the song cycle features music performed by soprano soloist Karol Bennett, a piano quintet and electronics. The concert experience will be enhanced by NASA photographs of star fields by renowned nature photographer Colin Legg.
