At this concert, Eric Halen, co-concertmaster of the Houston Symphony and Artistic Director of Musica Tra Amici, will be joined by colleagues from both The Houston Symphony and Rice University's Shepherd School of Music.
For Beethoven's String Quartet in F minor, Halen will be joined by Boson Mo, violinist in the Houston Symphony; James Dunham, former violist of the Cleveland Quartet and Professor of Viola at Rice Shepherd School of Music; and, Chris French, Associate Principal Cellist of the Houston Symphony. For the Schumann Piano Quintet in E flat major, Eric will be joined by these colleagues and Houston Symphony Pianist, Scott Holshouser.
