The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, welcomes street fashion photographer Langston Hues to discuss his book and ongoing project, Modest Street Fashion. Hues’ street photographs capture the fusion of fashion trends and personal style among young, modestly-dressed women.
Modest Street Fashion has documented the personal style of nearly 400 women across the United States, Europe, Australia, Asia, and the Middle East. A selection of these photographs appear in a slideshow on view in the Icons of Style: A Century of Fashion Photography.
A book signing in North Foyer will immediately follow. Hues will also add to the ever-growing Modest Street Fashion project, photographing local modestly-dressed women throughout the Museum’s galleries.
