The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, joins the celebration of the 70th anniversary of Israel’s founding. The Museum will screen four films that reflect the quality and diversity of Israel’s film industry.
Filmgoers will also host a special post-film discussion with filmmaker Ran Tal, director of Ha’mu’zeon (The Museum) moderated by Israeli journalist David Kos. The discussion will be followed by a reception in the Museum galleries.
The following films will be screened:
- Bar Bahar (In Between) - October 20 at 6 pm
- Ein Betulot Bakrayot (Virgins) - October 20 at 8 pm
- Bikur ha-tizmoret (The Band’s Visit) - October 21 at 3 pm
- Ha'mu'zeon (The Museum) - October 21 at 5 pm
