Museum of Fine Arts, Houston presents The Golden Age of Mexican Cinema

The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, presents The Golden Age of Mexican Cinema, 14 screenings complementing the exhibition "Paint the Revolution: Mexican Modernism, 1910–1950." The films, released between 1940–59, showcase Mexico’s film industry during the “golden age” and include legendary actors Maria Félix, Dolores Del Rio, Tin-Tan, and more.

  • A Woman in Love (Enamorada) - Saturday, July 8, and Friday, August 18
  • The Kneeling Goddess (La diosa arrodillada) - Sunday, July 9, August 19, and Thursday, September 28

  • Tender Pumpkins (Calabacitas tiernas) - Saturday, July 15, and Sunday, August 20
