Mozart's Magic Flute

eventdetail

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's most popular and influential work, The Magic Flute tells the story of a young hero as he triumphs through trials and tribulations to save the Queen of the Night's daughter, Pamina, from an evil sorcerer. Directed by Buck Ross, the University of Houston production will transport the fantasy tale to an intergalactic setting. Think classical music meets Star Wars in 3D, perhaps. The opera will be performed in English with surtitles and 3D glasses will be available for audience members.
