Moseley Memorial Music Series: Organ Recital by Joby Bell

Joby Bell will perform Fete by Jean Langlais, In paradisum by Jean-Yves Daniel-Lesur, excerpts from Symphony No. 6 in G minor by Charles-Marie Widor and Prelude and Fugue in E-flat by Johann Sebastian Bach.

Bell lived in Houston for 14 years, during which he earned master and doctoral degrees in organ from Rice University and served as organist in several churches, including St. John the Divine, St. Philip Presbyterian and First Presbyterian. Since 2004, he has served on the faculty of the Hayes School of Music, Appalachian State University, where he teaches organ and church music studies.
