The Hope Cowan Faculty Recital: Dreams and Nightmares will be a unique immersive experience with electronics and lighting augmenting the sounds of harp, flute, and viola to create a surrealist dream world of music and color. The audience can enjoy the talents of Hope Cowan (harp), Amber Archibald (viola), Tyler Martin (flute), Matthew Webb (lighting design), and Timothy Roy (electronics).
The program will include Immerse by Elizabeth Comninellis for solo harp and electronics; Beware Of by Anna Clyne for hp/fl/vla and electronics; Drawings for Meyoko by Angelica Negron for hp/fl/vla and electronics; and Valentina V. by Timothy Roy for solo harp and electronics.
