Moores School Faculty Solo Recital: Andrew Staupe

Concert pianist and UH faculty member Andrew Staupe will perform a solo recital featuring works from three centuries, including Variations by 17th-century Dutch master Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck, Alban Berg’s Sonata Op. 1, Claude Debussy’s Images Book I, Charles Valentin Alkan’s Le Festin d’Aesop (Aesop’s Feast), and Robert Schumann’s Kreisleriana, Op. 16.

This performance will be presented live in-person to a limited audience. All patrons will be required to wear face masks and maintain proper social distancing while attending live events at the University of Houston. Seating will be assigned by ushers upon arrival to ensure proper social distancing between parties during the performance.

All ticket registration must be completed online in advance. The performance will also be live-streamed for anyone who prefers to enjoy the concert from the comfort and safety of their home.
