The 2nd Annual Smitty's Day at the Park will feature retired NFL Pro Bowl Offensive Lineman Wade Smith, NFL legends, high school/collegiate student-athletes, professional cheerleaders, authors, musicians, and artists. The free camp will serve students grades K-6, or ages 5-12, and includes elite hands-on instruction from NFL players, veterans, college athletes and coaches; a cheer camp, where participants will learn and perform a choreographed cheer and dance routine taught by professional cheerleaders; arts, music and literacy camps led by local children’s book authors, musicians and illustrators/artists; and games, lunch and activities following the football and cheer camp.

Pre-registration is encouraged. Campers must read one age-appropriate book and answer a few questions about the story in order to participate. Participants are also encouraged to bring one book for donation. All new or lightly used books collected will be donated, so that children who may lack access to books may read, explore and expand their horizons.
