Moody Gallery will present the exhibition Pendulum Series, featuring recent work by Arthur Turner. In Pendulum Series, Turner will exhibit a new series of watercolors that evolved after being diagnosed with kidney failure. Spending hours in dialysis helped him focus on drawing again as a way to productively deal with time. The watercolors presented in this new body of work begin with an underlying drawing in graphite that is built upon with pigment and ink. Inspired by natural sources, the hanging, suspended and sometimes flying forms come from natural shapes in Turner's garden.

Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through August 13.
