Moody Center for the Arts will celebrate the commission by Core alumnus William Cordova. His installation, "2800 dowling-wasi-sangarara," depicts an abstracted landscape made of various materials including photographic documents of historical landmarks found in Houston and Cuzco, Peru (where he lives part-time). Cordova's meditative composition conveys a message of fracture and reunion.

Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display until August 23, 2024.
