Experience the psychedelic sounds of Natural Information Society amid the vibrantly colored free-hanging paintings of exhibiting artist and band member Lisa Alvarado. This musical response to the current exhibition "Resonant Earth," is the latest event in the Moody's signature series, "Dimensions Variable."

Natural Information Society is led by composer and multi-instrumentalist Joshua Abrams. The group’s music is grounded in Abrams’ hypnotic & interwoven writing. Performing with Alvarado’s free-hanging paintings as mobile sets, NIS creates meditative environments. NIS navigates forms that emphasize simultaneous differences, rhythm, and collective listening. The group has released six records, including descension (Out of Our Constrictions) 2021, for eremite records.
