Joining the Choral Society as a guest artist for the performance is award-winning pianist Joseph Martin, Artist in Residence at Concordia University in Austin. Martin isa composer and arranger whose music can be heard in world-renowned venues including Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York City; Constitution Hall in Washington, DC; and St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City as well as hundreds of worship services in churches across the U.S. and Canada.
For those who enjoy dinner before the concert, the season kickoff also includes a catered barbecue dinner – for an additional charge of $10 each – which will begin serving at 5:30 p.m.
