Major League Soccer's 15th All-Star Game brings Manchester United — arguably the most popular sports team in the entire world — to Houston for a matchup that is expected to set a All-Star Game attendance record at the 70,000-seat Reliant Stadium (45,000 tickets have been sold so far). The game itself will pit MLS's best versus the Red Devils touring U.S. squad, which does not include superstar striker Wayne Rooney.

Landon Donovan — the most popular U.S. soccer player whose international cred has taken off since his World Cup performance — will play for the MLS side (though there is debate over how much action Donovan, who likely won't start, will see). The Houston Dynamo's Brian Ching was selected to the game with one of the two commissioner's picks and Ching is planning to be all around town during the game's buildup as an unofficial Bayou City ambassador.

Still, for many, the draw comes in Manchester United barreling into Houston, bringing all its international drawing power and mystique.

The game will be shown live on ESPN2.
