MKT BAR at Phoenicia Specialty Foods Downtown presents a solo exhibition of works by Houston-based visual artist Santos Guerrero, titled I & U / 1,2 1,2. The exhibition will feature paintings and the unveiling of a site-specific mural commissioned by Phoenicia Specialty Foods.
The opening reception features a music line-up including Wonky Powers recording artist George West and deejay FREDster with special guest, multi-platinum music producer The ARE, whose credits includes work for LL Cool J, Nicki Minaj, and Houston's own K-OTIX, whose latest album features cover art by Guerrero. In honor of the artist's hometown of Monterrey, Mexico, a Santos-inspired ceviche and michelada will be available for purchase.
Following the opening reception, the exhibition will be on view through April 17.
