Mitochondria Gallery will present “Inheritance of Belonging,” the North American debut solo exhibition by Rwandan visual artist, Hirwa Bless Ainé Jovial.

"Inheritance of Belonging" reflects on how identity is shaped through family, culture, memory, and the everyday. Deeply rooted in Rwanda’s cultural landscape, Jovial’s work considers belonging as something we inherit, embody, question, and ultimately pass forward.

The exhibition will remain on display through October 4.
