Legendary choreographer Bill T. Jones will launch the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts' Mitchell Artist Lecture series. Jones has choreographed more than 45 works for his own company, Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, and was granted Tony Awards for his recent ventures into Broadway theater as co-creator of FELA and choreographer of Spring Awakening.
Jones will discuss his significant legacy of interdisciplinary collaboration over the course of his career, including artistic partnerships with Louise Nevelson, Kiki Smith, Toni Morrison, Jessye Norman, Keith Haring and dozens of others.
