Last year, deli man Ziggy Gruber and fiancée, Mimi McCaughey, traveled to Budapest to get married in a fairytale setting. It was nearly a weeklong event with palace dinners, river cruises and an emotional wedding ceremony in the famed Dohany Street Synagogue, where Ziggy's grandfather had his bar mitzvah.
The couple invites Houstonians to Kenny & Ziggy's New York Delicatessen Restaurant to celebrate their first anniversary with a dinner that features the Hungarian dishes they enjoyed at the grand wedding dinner in Budapest, paired with both Hungarian and domestic wines.
