The Miami Heat make their one and only appearance in Houston this season, bringing the circus of the LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh trio. This figures to be the toughest ticket of the Rockets' regular season, much more in demand than the recent visit of Kobe Bryant (already yesterday's news?) and the LA Lakers.
After some early struggles and a 9-8 start, LeBron and friends are living up to the hype, having ripped off 14 wins in their last 15 games, including a national showcase Christmas Day demolishing of the Lakers in Los Angeles. The Rockets (15-15) come in having just crawled back to .500, playing their best basketball of the season. Miami does host New York the night before, giving Houston's team the edge in fresh legs and limiting LeBron or Wade's Houston club time.
The starpower? Well, that's still on the other side.
