The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston celebrates the last MFAH Mixed Media Designed by IKEA party of the season outdoors in the Cullen Sculpture Garden, which will be transformed into a multisensory experience featuring high-energy live music, DJs, cocktails and dancing in an event space designed by a team from IKEA Houston.
Expect some surprise pop up performances by the group named after one of Bruno Mars' famous hit songs, "Young Girls," as well as a surprise visit from "Houston's only professional party crashers," GoREALah Soul.
Performing live is Austin's Xander Harris (Not Not Fun, Desire, Holodeck, Mishka Records), plus DJ Joe B, DJ Cubagoodingjr and resident DJ Eric Castillo/Ceeplus Bad Knives. Show off your own talent with karaoke to Cover Me Badd's extensive selection of hit songs by your favorite artists, including Kelly Clarkson and George Jones. Enjoy some late-night grub from the on-site food truck while strolling through the Cullen Sculpture Garden to view its beautiful sculptures. Stop by the Smilebooth for party pics that you can share instantly via social networks.
