This discussion marks the third event in the Conversations with the Director series, a public program at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston that presents an eclectic mix of cultural figures.

In 2001, Ronald S. Lauder established the Neue Galerie in New York, the landmark museum devoted to early 20th-century German and Austrian art and design. In this conversation, Lauder will discuss his years of collecting art, from antiquities and medieval art to modern masters, as well as his passion for Austrian and German art of the early 20th century.

Doors open at 7 p.m.; conversation starts at 7:15 p.m. The event will be followed by a reception open to all ticket holders in the Beck Lobby.
