MFAH loves Jeff Bridges: Screening of The Last Picture Show

In honor of Jeff Bridge's Oscar win for Crazy Heart, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston is screening nine of his movies throughout the month of May and June.

Based on Larry McMurtry's novel, The Last Picture Show was filmed in 1971 and stars a much younger Jeff Bridges and Timothy Bottoms. The film is set in a small Texas town and is a coming of age story of two high school football friends as they work out their futures and love relationships. The film also features Cybill Shepherd, Cloris Leachman and Randy Quaid.
