Viennese splendor meets contemporary couture in Fashion Fusion, a fashion competition inspired by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston exhibition, Habsburg Splendor: Masterpieces from Vienna's Imperial Collections. The museum's Happy Hour Thursday features a runway show of designs by Houston Community College fashion students inspired by the Habsburg treasures. Judges include CultureMap editor-in-chief Clifford Pugh, Tootsies creative designer Fady Armanious and Helga Aurisch, MFAH Curator of European Art.
Admission to the fashion show, which takes place at 7 p.m. is free. Happy Hour Thursday with a cash bar has been extended from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for the special event. Exhibition tickets to Habsburg Splendor are $10 each.
