The original idea of this spirited evening was to give well-connected gents a unique chance to contribute to the museum's collection of art, particularly in the area of sporting life. Through its history, this extraordinary all-male event has raised over $9 million towards the purchase of important paintings, photographs, prints, and sculptures for the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Fine wines, ports, a great meal and cigar-smoking in the garden are all part of the manly tradition.
