Part of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston Revival Series, Breakfast at Tiffany's is based on a Truman Capote novella of the same name. Audrey Hepburn plays Holly Golightly, an urban socialite searching for a rich, older man to become her husband. Director Blake Edwards will always be remembered for this nostalgic Hollywood classic.
Sam Wasson will present a lecture on his best-selling book, Fifth Avenue, 5 A.M.: Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast at Tiffany´s, and the Dawn of the Modern Woman, revealing insights on the classic Oscar-winning film on Jan 13 at 6:30 as part of Artful Thursday at MFAH.
