Part of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston Film Premieres: Contemporary World Cinema series, international art film Tiny Furniture makes its  Houston debut. It was winner of the Best Narrative Feature at the 2010 SXSW Film Festival.

"Twenty-two-year-old Aura (director Lena Dunham) returns home to her mother´s Tribeca loft with a film theory degree, 357 hits on her YouTube page, and a boyfriend who deserts her. Luckily, her best friend never left home, the restaurant down the block is hiring, and ill-advised romantic possibilities lurk around every corner." — IFC Films

CultureMap's own Joe Leydon will introduce the movie and offer his insights at the first screening on Jan 7.
