The late Samuel Mockbee, founder of Auburn University's Rural Studio, made it his life's ambition to inspire students to enrich their impoverished communities through architecture. Director Sam Wainwright Douglas follows Mockbee's life as an artist, architect and educator.
Douglas attended Houston's Episcopal High School and graduated with honors from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
